Wooden box hand carved in 1963 at Santa Barbara, California by the
Swedish exile Hans D. He then was 89 years of age and retired from steam
turbine engineering. He was the holder of 19 steam turbine patents and
was at one time a colleague and friend of the inventor Nikola Tesla.
